How to read this: each number is how many reviews raised that topic in their own words — not a percentage or a score. Bars compare topics within a box only, so the longest bar is whatever came up most here, marked Top. The dots above show how much evidence we have, not how good the show is.
This summarises what reviewers said. It isn't our verdict, and we don't write reviews ourselves. See exactly how every number is calculated.

Eat Your Spanish has been a favorite of ours for the last two years. Our oldest adores listening to Evan and Vanessa (and especially Mrs. Elephant and Mr. Mouse). Our youngest now shares the same love. Both sing the opening jingle with great delight and shout the Spanish back and forth sections. We love you all!

Finally learning!
I have wanted to pick up speaking Spanish so I can better connect with the Spanish speaking families in our church, school, and sports activities. I’m enjoying listening in the car with my 7 year old and I’ve given is the goal to go on a Honduras missions trip in two years if we can speak Spanish by then. I’m amazed how much I remember from High School and the show is making me More confident and we are having fun!

Mr. Mouse and Mrs. Elephant ruined it for me
I liked listening to this passively with my child on car rides to help progress his Spanish learning but the Mr Mouse and Mrs Elephant segment was so inappropriate. Another review mentioned the out-of-place storyline and I have to agree, the whole thing was not appropriate for kids. I was put off by it but the part that bothered me the most was the fact that Mr Mouse would continuously kiss Mrs Elephant’s feet. She steps on berries, he licks her feet clean. She hits her toe while hammering a table, Mr Mouse kisses it 10 times….why the toe? Wouldn’t she have hit her “thumb” instead? Once is odd, twice is not a mistake. We’ve only made it to episode 5 so I hope they removed that segment. To add, yes it’s fun learning but I had to correct words and pronunciation a lot

Inauthentic
This lacks richness. Our search for a good homeschooling option for Spanish introduction continues. The accents are inauthentic and the whole thing is cheesy. My 6, 5, and 3 year old boys can hardly stand this show. I have tried a handful of times to make it work, but it lacks educational sequence, culture, and authentic speaking. My kids think the “funny” parts are boring. This is a podcast for people who are thoughtlessly trying to fill empty space (in the car, in the house, etc.) and pretend their kids are learning Spanish.

Tu Tu Teshcote - An Ancient Aztec (Mexica) Lullaby!
Apr 13, 2026 · 15 min
“Tu Tu Teshcote” is a traditional lullaby from the Mexica (Aztec) people of central Mexico, reflecting the rhythms of family life in and around Tenochtitlan before Spanish contact. Passed down orally through generations, it blends gentle repetition with Nahuatl language sounds to soothe children while preserving a small piece of pre-Columbian cultural heritage. It is one of our favorite songs to listen to when we want to relax and drift off into a magical and peaceful place. ❤️ Click the following link to learn more about our virtual Spanish lessons - www.EatYourSpanish.com ❤️
